Dress Up Parade - Children's Day 2026

Bring your brightest costume and strut your stuff! Whether it’s a superhero, princess, pirate, animal, favourite book character or something totally unique - everyone is welcome.
The parade will be led by our superhero roving entertainers as we make our way down The Strand, finishing on stage at the waterfront Performance Zone.
Every child who takes part will receive a little thank you - a lolly and a sticker - just for joining the fun!
No costume? No worries! Head to the Arts & Crafts Zone before the parade to create your own mask (available while stocks last).
Once the parade wraps up, stick around at the Performance Zone for a family disco boogie party with Prams and Jams - the perfect way to keep the celebrations going.
Please note: there will be photographers and videographers present on the day capturing content for social media and marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let us know when you see us.
