On Sunday, 11 January, streets in central Tauranga will be bursting with vibrant colours and festivities as the Sikh community comes together to celebrate the annual Sikh Parade.
This annual parade celebrates the birth of 10th Master Guru Gobind Singh JI and is a showcase of Sikh culture.
There will be colourful costumes, brightly decorated floats, family fun, and a whole lot of community spirit.

The parade starts with speeches outside the Gurudwara Sikh Sangat at 42 Burrows St,Tauranga, at 11am

Fraser Street from Eleventh Avenue to Thirteenth Avenue

The parade will finish at the Sikh Temple, Gurudwara Sikh Sangat, on 43 Burrows Street.
For safety reasons,there will be rolling road closures in central Tauranga during the parade from 11am – 3pm: Please plan your travel accordingly.
