Calling all environmental enthusiasts, curious learners, and anyone keen to explore Toi Ohomai’s environmental management offerings! Join us for a hands-on water quality workshop focused on freshwater health and biodiversity.

In the first session, you’ll examine macroinvertebrates under microscopes and calculate MCI (Macroinvertebrate Community Index) scores, a key indicator of stream health. The second session will involve water quality testing using field kits, including coliform identification and counting. The workshop will be guided by experienced facilitators.
