Environmental Volunteering - Waikareao Estuary
Draft event cannot be saved
Expired event cannot be saved
Want to help care for one of Tauranga’s beautiful reserves?
Join us at the Waikareao Estuary for a morning of hands-on conservation.
We’ll be meeting to weed around newly planted native trees and remove exotic vegetation from the estuary margins.
This small act allows the native vegetation to thrive.
No tools required – just wear closed-toe shoes and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
If you’re keen to join, please register by emailing Angus Gough at Tauranga City Council: angus.gough@tauranga.govt.nz.
More details will be shared once you’ve signed up.
We’d love to see you there!
