Mike Love Announces New Zealand Headline Tour This October.
Five-date solo run across Aotearoa, with Tiki Taane joining for two special shows, ahead of Mike's run supporting Katchafire on their Revival World Tour across Australia.
Hawai‘i roots reggae artist Mike Love returns to New Zealand this October for a five-date solo headline tour, marking his first Aotearoa run in support of new music and setting the stage for his upcoming appearances alongside Katchafire on their Revival World Tour across Australia this October and November.
Known for his one-man-band live show – built entirely in real time with guitar, keyboard, melodica and a pedalboard loaded with loopers – Mike layers bass lines, beatboxed rhythms and harmonies live on stage with nothing pre-recorded. Blending roots reggae with rock, soul, blues, folk and hip hop, he calls it his own “revolutionary consciousness music.” Off the back of his 2025 album Teachers, and with 250-plus shows a year under his belt through his own label, Love Not War Records, Mike brings that genre-blurring solo show to five New Zealand cities this October.

For two of those nights – Mount Maunganui and Raglan – fans get something rare: two one-man-bands on the same bill. Aotearoa icon Tiki Taane joins Mike for these shows, hitting the stage in his own rawest and most electrifying form, armed with nothing but guitars, loops, beats and pure energy to build an entire sonic universe live. Whether you know him from Salmonella Dub, his chart-topping hits or his legendary live shows, Tiki has built a reputation as one of the most dynamic live performers in the Southern Hemisphere.
