As the saying goes
“A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in.” -Greek Proverb
Come join us at Gordon Carmichael Reserve, and plant some trees whose shade we wont get to enjoy, but knowing we are leaving a gift for the future of Tauranga and its residents.
There will be some light refreshments. So please register everyone who is attending so we have an idea of numbers for catering.
Please wear clothes you don't mind getting mucky, bring gardening gloves if you have them, and bring your wider family and friends to plant some trees together. Assistance can be given to dig holes if that is too difficult.
