Tauranga is the proud home of the Zespri AIMS Games, welcoming thousands of athletes, coaches, officials and supporters to the city for a week of sports action accompanied by a festival of community events.
Across 27 sporting codes delivered at 30 venues throughout Tauranga, more than 460 schools and 14,500 Year 7 and 8 athletes will compete from 5–11 September 2026 in Australasia’s largest and most exciting junior sporting event.
