Here’s your Christmas shopping all planned out! We can’t think of a better gift than art – and you probably agree!

Continuing our tradition, we’re offering artists the chance to submit their work, while providing you the opportunity to purchase outstanding original and affordable pieces, whether for yourself or as gifts.

We’re thrilled about this exciting event! Put on your crash helmets and get ready for the largest art buying frenzy this Christmas in the Bay of Plenty. This spectacular show features over 60, sometimes up to 100, high-quality small-sized artworks (30 cm square) available for just $116 each.

This year has been another whirlwind of successful exhibitions at The People's Gallery - Toi ka rere, highlighting a diverse range of artists. We’ve showcased hundreds of students from local schools, along with cultural groups, allowing them to exhibit and sell their creations. Our exhibition program relies on fundraising events like this one, where your purchase also supports the artists involved, many of whom generously donate as well.

Opening preview Saturday 23 November at 10am. In the Incubator lounge at the Historic Village, Tauranga. Everyone welcome. On display in The People's Gallery - Toi ka rere from 25 November to 18 December 2024. Open 10am-3pm.
