Skateboarding New Zealand, Tauranga City Council and TECT are proud to present the 2025 Skateboard National Championships for Park, Street and Vert. 

The Cariuma Park competition and The Good Room Street Competition will be held at the Destination Skatepark in Mount Maunganui. The Red Bull Vert Competition will take place at the Blake Park Vert ramp. The event will run from March 28 to March 30, 2025. (March 30 is the rain day).

Competition divisions this year are Open Women's and Open Men's for Park, Street and Vert; as well as Under 13 boys/girls for Park and Street.

Spectating the event is free, however there is a cost if you are entering the competition. 

Spectator spaces at Destination Skatepark for the Park and Street events will be in high demand, especially on finals day, Saturday. Be sure to check the event schedule for competition timings. For the Vert competition, head over to Blake Park’s Vert ramp, where you can chill on the grass and catch the action on Saturday afternoon. Parking is available at the Blake Park car park, with mobility spaces outside the Mount Sports Centre. The Blake Park overflow carpark will also be available opposite Hull Road and Newton Street intersection if required.

Please note - Destination Skatepark will be partially closed on Thursday, 27 March, and Monday, 31 March for competition setup. It will be fully closed on Friday, 28 March, and Saturday, 29 March for the competition.
