An exciting opportunity for children to participate in a public art project led by well-known New Zealand artist Sara Hughes.
In partnership with Tauranga City Council, Sara is offering children aged 5-16 the chance to participate in a 90-minute workshop to create their own painted beach ball that will be part of a vibrant installation in the city centre. Referencing objects in the Tauranga Heritage Collection, children will be encouraged to create their own imagery based on local history.
