In this very special workshop, award winning artist, Sue MacDougall is offering to share her wealth of knowledge and help you create your own vibrant abstract expression, start to finish. From mark making, to mixing paints to layering onto a canvas.
Beginning on paper first, Sue will guide participants through experimenting with shape and colour, as well as black and white, then transferring their ideas to canvas.
Participants must bring:
- Acrylic paints, including black and white
- Water spray gun
- Visual diary (in which you can paint – so not just a standard notebook)
- 300 gsm papers of varying sizes – one must be at least A2
- Masking tape
- Brushes and scrapers
- Sponges
- A4 size container with a lid
