Elektrophoria – Tauranga Waterfront
Elektrophoria is a boutique electronic music festival created by Euphoria Events, bringing together electronic music, high-quality production and a unique outdoor atmosphere in the heart of Tauranga.
This edition marks an exciting new chapter for Elektrophoria as the event moves to Tauranga Waterfront, creating our biggest and most ambitious boutique festival experience to date.
Elektrophoria will transform the waterfront into an intimate electronic music destination, combining DJs, professional sound and lighting production, food, drinks and an incredible waterfront setting.
The festival focuses on house, progressive house, minimal and underground electronic music, with a carefully selected lineup of DJs performing throughout the afternoon and into the evening.
Unlike a large-scale commercial festival, Elektrophoria is designed around a boutique concept. Attendance is intentionally limited, allowing us to create a more intimate atmosphere where the crowd, artists and production all feel connected.
The waterfront location will play an important part in the experience. Guests will be able to enjoy electronic music outdoors as the event transitions from daylight into sunset and night, with the stage, lighting and visual production evolving throughout the day.
A professionally produced stage, sound system, lighting, visual effects and event infrastructure will create the festival environment, while food vendors and a licensed bar will operate throughout the event.
Elektrophoria is an R18 event and is designed to provide a safe, professionally managed and welcoming environment for electronic music lovers.
And when the Waterfront finishes, Elektrophoria isn't over.
The official Elektrophoria After Party will continue at Cornerstone Tauranga, giving festival-goers the opportunity to keep the night going after the main Waterfront event.
More than simply another music event, Elektrophoria represents the continued growth of Tauranga's electronic music culture and our vision of creating distinctive electronic music experiences in some of the city's most memorable locations.
