Rolling through a rainbow! The Tauranga Holi Colour Splash has become one of the most popular events in the Bay, inviting families and friends to enjoy a day filled with DJ music and all the epic Holi songs, Bharatanatyam, Bhangra and Bollywood dance performances, henna art, delicious Indian street food, and a fun obstacle course for children.
We have successfully created a Holi event with a spiritual depth which can be experienced by many. The greatest perfection in life lies in receiving divine bliss and mercy - all this can be directly experienced through the chanting of powerful mantras (prayers) and tossing the colours in the air to celebrate devotion and a positive outlook in life. Celebrating Holi is a perfect opportunity to feel this boundless joy!
Attendees are encouraged to wear white colours, and purchase eco-friendly, non-toxic coloured powders at the event. We will continue our zero-waste revolution with Make Waste History and promote only reusable food packaging.
