Celebrate Christmas with a free concert by Tauranga Civic Choir, a group of people of mixed ages from all walks of life, but have in common a love of music and singing.
Tauranga Civic Choir is the city’s longest established mixed-voice auditioned choir. Originally known as the Cantabile Singers, it was founded by music teacher Beatrice Webster in late 1961. In 1987 the choir’s name was changed to the Tauranga Civic Choir to more accurately reflect what the group had become. Join them to enjoy a Christmas themed collection under the Christmas tree in Masonic park.
