As the winter skies deepen and the stars of Matariki rise once more, we warmly invite our community to gather for the Tauranga Waldorf School Matariki Light Festival. Through lantern light, quiet wonder, shared kai and connection, we honour this special time of remembrance, reflection and new beginnings.
Through lantern light, shared kai, quiet reflection and walking Te Ara a Matariki together, the lantern walk invites participants to slow down, reflect on the past year, acknowledge loved ones, and look ahead with hope and intention — embracing both the wonder of the stars above and our connection to each other and the natural world.
