A new kind of Friday wind‑down.
Step away from the rush, sink into a space filled with bold, beautiful artwork, and take a moment to catch up with old friends – or make a few new ones.
On the 28th, The Incubator Creative Hub in the Historic Village opens its doors for another of our monthly art gatherings – think live music, a licensed bar, generous grazing platters from Gate Pa New World, and a line‑up of fresh, thought‑provoking exhibitions.
This month brings together students discovering their creative voice and established artists whose work demands attention. It’s a rare mix of emerging energy and refined craft – and there’s genuinely something for everyone.
At The Incubator, art is not a passive experience. It sparks conversation, invites reflection, and builds community.
What's on:
The People's Gallery – Toi ka Rere:
Artful Wahine. Tauranga Girls' College students return for the ninth consecutive year, showcasing work that reflects their voices, visions, and creative journeys.
The Incubator Gallery:
Something Human by Mathew Johnson & Ila-Rose Hepetema.
Two of our most compelling young artists collide in a show that feels less like a collaboration and more like a live wire stretched between two creative minds.
Imprint Gallery:
Moments by Jenni & Bea Cornelius
Small moments, captured on paper. Winter reflections, quiet pauses, and dreams of new seasons – brought to life through paintings and prints.
Come for the art. Stay for the company. Leave inspired.
We can't wait to see you there.
