Kia Ora! Welcome to the 2025 Edition of the Sunny Side up Children's Film Festival.

Our event is aimed at Primary aged children and showcases some of the very best short, animated films for only a low cost of $8 pp or $28 for a family of 4. Come along for games, prizes, children's films, and fun!

Being held at the Tauranga Boys Graham Young Youth Centre, this event promises to be a fun-filled 90 minutes. Each session will be jam-packed with exciting activities and games, allowing children to participate and have fun while enjoying the films.

In-between each of the films, Milli Banbury will give a little blurb about each, with games in between with awesome prizes.

The main attraction of the festival will be the animated films, specially selected to entertain primary-aged children, leaving them on the edge of their seats. Our films are all G/PG and are carefully selected to entertain, teach, inspire, and leave a message.

So, Parents, bring your kids to the Tauranga Boys Theatre for a day of fun, laughter, and animated films on the 10th of July 2025. The festival promises to be a magical and memorable experience for kids, with a focus on providing them with a fun and safe environment where they can enjoy films, games, and prizes.
