Come along to hear stories and poetic songs from the Harp and the Lyre series. Aiming to encourage reading and creativity within our Kiwi youth, author H. C. Roberts presents an innovative literary work which features QR codes, music, and maps. During the one-hour talk, she’ll discuss the world-building process and characters from the books, play live guitar songs, and demonstrate the various reading formats—e-book, paperback, and audiobook. Main themes include tech culture, climate, and belonging. This family-friendly event is aimed at middle-grade readers, but with wide appeal for the young-at-heart. Let your imagination run wild with this new climate-fiction adventure!
About the author
H.C. Roberts is the pen name for Kiwi musician, Holly Christina, who lives in the Waikato with her guitars, roses, and writing instruments. Paying her creative dues in the music industry since 2008, she is driven by a passion for classic literature to write about the universal yearning to be loved and to belong.
