Join us for a fun and creative Toi Tākaro session in celebration of Mahuru Māori! In this hands-on workshop, tamariki will shape their own clay taonga, choosing from a range of beautiful traditional Māori designs. Along the way, they will learn the names and meanings of each design in te reo Māori.

Presented in collaboration with Pocket-Sized Play, this event is a chance to connect with te ao Māori through art, storytelling, and interactive learning.

There’s a free activity at Te Ao Mārama - Tauranga Library between 10.30am – 12.30pm every Saturday. Come along and join in the fun!
