Extra Lives is a live choose-your-own-adventure concert where the audience votes by phone to steer a funny, heartfelt Role-Playing Game-style story while the band performs the soundtrack in real time. Part concert, part comedy, part theatre and part game, the show turns the room into the hero as every choice changes the journey.
Created by Los Angeles musician Michael Kohl and with home bases in the UK, Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, Extra Lives appears in 15+ countries and is now performed with local rosters around the world. The show features a Kiwi band and has been adapted into multiple languages and continues to connect audiences around the world through live music, video game nostalgia, comedy, audience agency and communal storytelling.
