Glow Kids is a fun and family-focused evening activation on The Strand (grass area opposite Hamilton Street), designed to engage tamariki aged 13 and under through a combination of immersive lighting, interactive dance classes and silent disco experiences.
The short high-energy 15-minute dance sessions designed for tamariki are run by local studio Precision Dance, encouraging movement and confidence.
Age-appropriate content and instructors ensure a fun, welcoming environment.
Multiple silent disco sessions are hosted every Friday and Saturday evening, 5-8pm featuring:
- Up to 8 x 20-minute sessions per night (5pm–8pm)
- Single-channel headsets with light-up disco themes
- Maximum 30 children per session
- Sessions curated for different age groups (e.g., under 6s, no-parents rounds)
- Professional DJ, UV/disco lighting, and glow accessories
No need to book, simply turn up between 5-8pm and sign up for your boogie!
