Children's Day 2026 Movie Night - Lilo and Stitch

The much-loved Night Owl Cinemas are hopping over the bridge to Coronation Park for a special Children’s Day outdoor movie night! Bring your whānau and get ready for mayhem and plenty of adventure as Lilo and Stitch lights up the big screen.

This live action Disney favourite is bursting with beach action, surfboards, sunsets and iconic tunes, sure fill your evening with joy and laughter. At its heart this is a feel-good story about friendship, finding where you belong and discovering that family comes in all shapes and forms.

Bring a picnic or make an evening of it by wandering the Mount Mainstreet to grab a bite or enjoy dessert from one of the many local cafés and eateries. Don’t forget to bring a blanket to sit on, find a comfy spot and settle in for a fun-filled family night out. Popcorn will be available (cash only).
